About the event
There's something special in the whisky world when you try a distillery's creation for the first time (or maybe the first really really good expression!) and you just get blown away about how good their liquid can be. These are the unheralded Scotch whisky distilleries that have been churning out amazing liquid for a long time (some over a century or two!) but we just don't see their bottlings very often - and when we do, they might be some of these "finished" whiskies that just don't taste that great. Well this tasting is a chance to "right the ship" and dive into some carefully curated expressions that still keep me up at night dreaming about! Most of these (not all) end up in blends and never get the fanfare (except maybe Daftmill!), so this tasting is to celebrate them and acknowledge the question: What About Us?
